so i did some math...

To figure out exaclty how many ducats I would need to master commerce mastery

it came out to be roughly at least 7,502,000 ducats earned starting from r7 (where I am now)

After more math I found that I would need somewhere around 2960 wine racks if I used only them to master it. It takes 2 wine racks to make 5k ducats and you can carry 5 racks a trip. So if I forget about the odd 5th rack and only carry 4 racks a trip it would take me 740 trips from tara to master commerce mastery. It takes me roughly 30 minutes to get from tara to bangor provided I run into little to no bandits. It would take me somewhere around 22200 minutes or 370 hours or 15 and a half straight days of playing and only playing. However I usually only play about 8 hours a day meaning this endeavor would take me 46 to 47 days. Fun.

46 to 47 days?

Psh.

At least, that makes it something to be proud of.

Archer skills rank pretty quickly with or without talent. In addition, they're bottlenecked by AP more often.

I think it'd make sense to go merchant, especially since the extra luck will largely offset any dex loss.
