It's as good a time as any to start this topic now.

We've learned from our last guild event that there are issues that needed to be addressed. I hope that all of us will use that experience to improve our guild's camaraderie.

Kami recommended an event that utilized dice; the idea in itself is very fair and doesn't come with unfair advantages.
One event that was held in a RO server I used to play was: racing. We would pick a designated spot to begin the race. After typing /dice, a six-sided die would automatically be rolled for you. Depending on the number you got you would move up that many spaces. Whoever got to the end first won.

Now I'm pretty sure most of you skeptics might be thinking: Where would this event be hosted and what even determines how big a step is in Mabinogi? Steps....steps??? This is MABI!!!!!! At first I thought about using each tile space in the Gate Hall of Rath Royal Castle. It's 32x32. Taking that into account we could make a race around the perimeter of the Gate Hall. The Great Hall (which is located one floor above) is 8x20 in the event that we're looking for a smaller amount. There's also the perimeter of Belvast's Garden (it's really pretty.)

There are tons of locations that could be useful for a dice event;the event doesn't even have to be a race.

We could have a Stamina event where each contestant has a set amount of "HP". Two people will face off against each other. Each dice roll will lower your opponents "HP" by the number you roll. The survivor of each round will advance until a winner is decided. To make things fair, it would be a good idea to include a Loser's Bracket as well. Due to the nature of this event, it's obvious that we'll need an even number of players.
Another alternate to this event (especially if we don't get an even number of players) is to involve everyone at once. Each contestant will start at zero. Rolling your dice will earn you points. The first three players to reach the goal wins.

These ideas are just the tip of the iceberg. I hope our fellow Athenians will contribute ideas and share their opnions. Thank you very much.
